HOW DO WE IMPLEMENT OUR MATERIALITY ANALYSIS?

In 2025, we have updated the materiality analysis process in line with the Double Materiality principle according to the provisions established by the “European Sustainability Reporting Standards” (ESRS).

While maintaining consistency with the approach adopted in previous years, the process has been updated both methodologically and in terms of content. The experience gained by the Group in previous analyses has allowed us to strengthen the quality of the assessment, with the aim of providing an increasingly complete, transparent, and up-to-date representation of the impacts, risks, and opportunities (IRO) relevant to our business and our stakeholders.

Pillar 1 – Energy Transition

ESRS E1 - Climate changeWe invest in integrating renewable energy into the National Electricity System, helping to meet international climate goals and support the energy transition. To deal with extreme weather events, we take measures to protect our assets and ensure the electricity service. We also take actions to reduce CO2 emissions (e.g. SF6 gas, energy use)

ESRS S2 - Workers in the value chainWe apply strict social criteria when selecting and managing contractors. Since there is a large presence of external workers on our worksites, we pay special attention to workplace safety

ESRS S4 - Consumers and endusersFollowing the principles of transparency and respect in our Code of Ethics, we commit to sharing clear and accurate information about our products and services, using communication channels that are open and available to the public

ESRS E5 - Resource use and circular economyWe promote initiatives for reusing materials, using resources efficiently, and managing waste through a Circular Economy Roadmap

ESRS G1 - Supplier relationship managementWe follow high environmental and social standards in managing our supply chain, focusing on building a long-term trust relationship with our suppliers

ESRS E4 - Biodiversity and ecosystemsWe work to reduce impacts on wildlife and plants and promote actions to support biodiversity. We follow the principle of “No net loss of biodiversity” and, when possible, aim for a “Net improvement”

ESRS S3 - Affected communitiesWe are committed to reducing impacts on land use (such as landscape, noise, and electromagnetic effects) and use structured ways to listen to local communities through specific involvement methods, like participatory project planning

ESRS G1 - Business conductWe act in full compliance with current laws, following an approach based on integrity, honesty, and legality. This is expressed in our codes of conduct, which guide all company operations
